Samaritan has been carefully designed and structured, while still keeping those two facts in mind. On the first hand, Samaritan introduces its own HTML-like, Help Markup Language (HML), which is an abstract of every concepts involved in help file authoring. Thus, the help file developer doesn't have to deal with the caveats of pure RTF coding. Secondly, Samaritan's own integrated preprocessor parses and formats the text before sending it to HelpWorkshop's compiler to be compiled. This means that a rigorous error checking is made during the formatting process and any irregularities are presented to the user with its exact location and line number, of the concerned module with a clear explanation of the error or warning. You can also customize how Samaritan treats errors and warnings.
